Giclée Prints of the Original Fine Art Works

Giclée (ghee-clay) is French for “squirt” and was the adopted term to describe the first superb prints done on an Iris printer.  Each print is done on the finest Giclée printer using Ultrachrome 8 color archival pigment inks tested to have a lifespan of over 100 years.  A choice of fine art quality archival Somerset velvet paper or digital canvas is used to print on.  The latter is preferable.  It is usually stretched but it is equally attractive when mounted flat matted and framed.  Each print is covered with a special UV coating to further protect it from light and dust so that there is no need to put it behind glass.  I personally print them in house so that I have complete control of the finished product and the amount printed.   It is then numbered, signed and dated.  Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
